Adults approach learning differently than children

Adults have different expectations about how to teach them and what they want to achieve by instruction. After many undergraduate classes are still rooted in teaching practices suitable for young adults. When working adults attend these same courses, the educational design may be inconsistent with their perceptions and aspirations as well as the conditions of life, leading to separation and frustration. Learning programs for adults
